Iggy Azalea: The Female Rapper with Individualistic Attitude
Monday 18th March 2013 | Kemmy
Iggy Azalea debuts with her first official new video for her track 'Work'. This girl is the hot new female rap star in the game that is taking over the world, breaking stereotypical boundaries along the way with the message that white girls can rap-with-swag too.
In true determination, Iggy has been rapping since she was 14. While others weren't taking rapping seriously, she has always had it at the back of her mind that one day, she'll be living life 'Juicy' (as deceased B.I.G used to say). Therefore, she began to save money in order to move to the country that made hip-hop the music genre of self-expression - the United States of America.
Her Southern rap flow and cool pop-sophisticated-street-style has been felt globally, having already being featured on BET's Hip Hop Awards Cyper alongside T.I, Chipmunk, B.o.B and Trae, toured alongside Rita Ora and perfomed at the VH1's Divas alongside the likes of Natasha Bendingfield. 'Work' is just a taster of what is about to come from the sister; so get down 'Durrty Style' by getting her EP 'TrapGold' which is available on download. Otherwise, expect her album 'New Classic' to be released soon.
It even looks like by the way she's going with her beautiful looks, body and swag, she'll be giving Nicki Minaj a run for her money...we just have to wait and see because at the end of the day, only time would tell.
'Work' iwill be available to purchase on iTunes from the 17th of March.
