Mario bros mashes up with Mobb Deep:

Who thinks of the hip hop Duo ‘Mobb deep’ would not exactly expect it to mash up well with the relatively innocent background music of the super Mario games. Well, producer Teddy Faley thinks otherwise. In his latest creation ‘Mario Deep’, he combines the hard-core lyrics of the hip-hop group with the tunes of the kid friendly super Mario videogames. Which might be confusing to some as a premise, but weirdly enough, it works. It creates a nice contrast between the display of music and the roughed up lyrics. Of course we don’t know how many lovers of hard-core hip hop music love super Mario equally as much, but it’s definitely worth a listen. And just imagine the following: you’re playing a game of super Mario and for some reason your character keeps dying at the exact same spot, causing your game to get stuck and you seriously doubting your skills. Well, in that case, some anger-filled, hard-core hip hop might just exactly be the outlet you need.
