The Statue Thieves-London's next hot thing!!

If their name grasped your attention and made you wonder (honestly did you actually think we are going to talk about quirky criminal activity?), The Statue Thives's first goal is achieved-they made you think about them!!!
But their name is not the only interesting fact about this band,their sound is!! The edgy sound comes with it’s laboratory-esque cooking of Mod rock, roots rock and roll, soul and the kind of grooves found in hip hop, off folk, psychedelia, and mellow funk. Lyrically, an existential reflection is dealt alongside a peeping commentary on the world we live in. Syria, David Cameron, and the London 2011 riots are reported on, next to relationships, strangers, drugs, and the overlooked beauty of this world.
This young band only formed at the beginning of 2012 and initially was known under the name of Monarchy of Roses.Despite their "band infancy", they already have a defined and recognisable sound that will get under your skin and will only make you want more.These ambitious and talented musicians have also released a Debut EP in which you can enjoy yourselves through the following link: http://bit.ly/U6ZGwL
Seeing them live is a real music treat. With their melodic sound and strong rhythm, they cover all the colours of emotional music experience taking you to the hidden places of your soul.Apart from a couple of performances in Cambridge, their touring experience was mostly focused on London's live music venues so if they won you over with their sound, you can upgrade your "emotional relationship" with them by paying them a visit in one of their upcoming gigs.Don't worry, we will keep you posted with all the information about the concerts.
