Will Neverland be restored by Lady Gaga?

The singer is interested in buying a share of Michael Jackson’s famous California ranch.
Lady Gaga is known to be an avid collector of Michael Jackson memorabilia, having bought 55 items belonging to the late singer at auction last year. Now it seems she wants to get a part of one of the biggest pieces of his life – the Neverland ranch. Jackson’s children reportedly want to hold onto the property, with Gaga keen to help financially by purchasing a share in the ranch. It appears she wants to restore the location to its original state.
Jackson bought the property in 1988, installing a petting zoo and fairground, before selling the mortgage to an investment group due to financial issues. Whether Lady Gaga can make something of the location – or even if she will be able to buy any of it – remains to be seen. In any case, the history of the ranch, combined with the eccentricities of Gaga, would certainly make for an interesting theme park.
