Aspiring Rapper Freddy E Commits Suicide

RnB/Hip Hop | Wednesday 9th January 2013 | Adrian

The phrase "The good die young" has never been more true as we say farewell to rapper and comedian Freddy E (real name Frederick Eugene Buhl). Most known for his show Jerk TV on YouTube, Freddy E was a very lively personality who brought hilarious wit, hyperactivity, humorous cross-dressing, loud energy, relevance to our everyday lives and a likeable aura all rolled into brilliant comedic skits. Four days ago he came out with the Spoken Word poem "Ignorance", which was just a small testimony to his lyrical/poetic prowess as well as his wisdom and insight. But unfortunately the rapper couldn't take it anymore following a break-up with female rapper Honey Cocaine (signed by Tyga) and ended it a few days ago with a rifle shot to the head. Furthermore, Freddy had also documented his fall to depression with a string of tweets not too long before he pulled the trigger. His family have since confirmed the death:

"Our family is saddened beyond words; our loss is great; this tragedy is enormous and unforeseen. Not only our family, but the world has lost a talented, sensitive, brilliant young man who lit up our existence with his. We love him a great deal, and he will be sorely missed. We pray that God will now watch over him, and we all ask of you to inculde Frederick and our entire family in your thoughts and prayers."

Honey Cocaine has also come forward on Twitter to deny being the cause of Freddy E's death:

"To say I caused what happened is ignorance. You know nothing about our friendship or the story, hate me if you feel. We loved each other. We were homies. We had a bond and a connection".

On behalf of the Guestlist Network we offer our sincerest condolences to the Buhl family and wish Frederick Eugene Buhl a peaceful rest.
