Get ready for The Milk!

The Essex band is just about to release their new single ‘(All I Wanted Was) Danger’ and have announced a massive UK tour.
Here comes one of the good ones. They just released their debut album and yet are getting amazing reviews from the best music critics. Not kidding, The Guardian said: “Pure fire and skill…an immersive experience you don’t want to end” and Daily Mirror tagged their work as: “One of the great debut albums of the century”. Even Q Magazine said: “Exceptional...A vision of life on the margins delivered with white knuckle intensity”. They also threw a sell-out performance at London’s Scala and a host of UK festivals (Isle of Wight, Ibiza Rocks, V Festival, Lounge on The Farm). So with all those credits - I don’t know if my opinion will count for you readers, but just in case, I really like them! - they are starting this November with an intensive tour, which will take them all around the UK presenting their debut album Tales From The Thames Delta, which has reached the UK Top 20 chart just after a month of being released.
The band started, according to lead vocalist, Mitch Ayling, because “there was just nothing else to do in our town”, so we can say now that those guys really know how to have fun (and earn some money instead of spending it in useless amusements). Their sound has been described as: “heavily soul-influenced, but it’s a modern, muscular take on the classics, which has assimilated the passion of rock ‘n’ roll and the fluidity of hip hop”. Their next release will be the single ‘(All I Wanted Was) Danger’ on the 12th November –which I think is their best song. The track “is a thrilling burst of soulful pop, ‘Danger’ feels influenced by a love of The Style Council, the restless energy of ‘Born To Run’, and the call-and-response choruses of The Vandellas or The Ronettes. It is an immediate and immersive mix: classic, contemporary and expertly-crafted”. That’s what the press release says, I would just say that it’s catchy and I can’t stop listening to it.
So if you decided to trust me, and really want to go to see them live, check out the touring dates:
