The Manchester’s electronica duo will be touring UK during next month, headlining new Dalston venue Birthdays in London on 22 November and supporting Purity Ring, Luke Abbott, Raffertie, Face and Heel and Olugbenga. Described by XLR8R as having "production as ominous and haunting as the group's name," Ghosting Season loves to produce “mangling guitar sounds, djing with forgotten classics, making kick drum sounds from stairs and making hi-hats from light switches”. Their icy and dark electronica and energetic live performances have made a name in the electronica scene and this year's SXSW, as well as broadcasters like Mary Anne Hobbs and John Digweed on his worldwide "Transitions" show.
When the tour is finished, they will return to the studio, to finalise their first new music since their debut album, The Very Last of the Saints, on Sasha's label Last Night On Earth. The first new EPs will be released early 2013. The band received really good reviews, and has been described as: "A post rock soundscape embellished by their knack for drama, distilling both wall of noise intensity and a keen ear for electronics" - Sonic Router. "Sublime techno ... more akin to a rock performance than electronic ... a special debut" - Little White Earbuds
