Did Leona Lewis ‘find love’ better than Rihanna could?

The X-Factor winner believes that her version of Rihanna’s track ‘We Found Love’ is better than the original.
Lewis also stated that she got the first go at the song, but decided against recording it for release. Rihanna apparently got the gig after taking producer Calvin Harris on tour. Lewis does have an actual version of it, but said that “I didn’t commit to it because I wanted ‘Trouble’ to be my first single so I think that was another reason they went with Rihanna. It was the same version and production but mine’s better.”
This seems rather arrogant of her, and what’s more, she is the only one who can judge whether her version is in fact superior, because she never intends to make it public – how awfully convenient. Lewis stated that to do so would be “so unprofessional”, because of course, saying that her version is better in the first place was not unprofessional at all.
I wonder if this is the only thing Lewis can do better than Rihanna. Perhaps she’ll say she is better at turning on Christmas lights too, when she switches on hers at home whilst Rihanna is in London doing it publicly.
