One of the greatest R&B singers of all time is to be remembered with a greatest hits album.
It was revealed earlier in the year that a greatest hits album could be expected from Whitney Houston, the R&B soul sensation who tragically died in February. It has now been confirmed that the album, called I Will Always Love You- The Best of Whitney Houston, is to include songs spanning her full career including hits ‘I’m Every Woman’, ‘Saving All My Love For You’, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ as well as a two previously unreleased singles.
The first of these singles, ‘I Look To You’ is a new version of the song featuring R. Kelly. The second, ‘Never Give Up’ was written by Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox and Johnta Austin. It will be her second greatest hits album, the other, Whitney: The Greatest Hits was released in 2000. However, unlike the previous album which contained remixes of some of her well known songs, this album includes all the original singles. There will be two albums; one will be a standard LP containing 18 songs and the other a deluxe edition containing 32 tracks over two discs.
The album is set to be the first compilation to span her entire career and will be released on 13th November. Have a listen to the collaboration between Whitney and R. Kelly below.
