Game Of Thrones takes home the Emmy

Game Of Thrones, the medieval fantasy series based on George Martin's 'A Song Of Ice And Fire', has wiped the Emmies clean, taking home a grand total of six awards, including Best Visual Effects and Best Costumes (thanks to Michele Clapton, UK designer). Filmed mostly in Ireland, the show has dominated HBO, picking up viewers right and left, and looks to celebrate an even more successful third series.
