True Corn with Lily and Pink

It’s collaboration central this week in the music world. It started with Flow and Calvin Harris, then Pink and Eminem and now it seems Pink ever the popular rebel has combined with our loved out-spoken Brit Lilly Allen. We can’t say it’s a collaboration we ever saw coming here at Guestlist Network and we’re not so sure how well it works.
Both the girls sound amazing but it seems the producer of this song must have been a bit scared of mixing the ladies vocals as Lily Allen only features for one small but sweet verse, the chorus and other verses taken by Pink. It’s because of this lack of blending that the two voices juxtaposition is made really obvious. It’s sugar and spice side by side rather than blended to make something different and new.
The song itself is a pleasantly catchy pop tune with the message of “You’re an a**whole, but I love you.” The song lends itself nicely to these sassy ladies but we’re not too sure how we like it as a duo.
We’ll leave it up to you to make your decision.
