
The biggest selling debut of the 21st century: Will Young's 'Anything is Possible'

The Official Streaming Chart reveals that Pop Idol, Will Young leads the charge with his 2002 debut A-side single 'Anything is Possible/ Evergreen' as the biggest selling debut single of the 21st century.
The Official Streaming Chart, celebrating its 60th anniversary announces the Top 60 biggest-selling debut singles of the 21st century.
They revealed Pop Idol, Will Young debut single released in 2002 tops the chart, which in its first week sold 1.1 million copies and nearly 1.8 million copies to date.
Closely follwoed by him, another Pop Idol finalist, Gareth Gates is at Number 2 with his version of Unchained Melody, also released in 2002, which has sold over 1.3 millions copies to date.
2008 X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is at Number 3 with her cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
