Relentless Boardmasters Review

What better way to spend your weekend than sitting on a beach, drinking cold beers and listening to amazing music. Well that’s exactly how we spent ours at Relentless Boardmasters in association with Vans in Newquay. Friday went off with a bang, with Ed Sheeran headlining the main stage, followed by DJ Fresh smashing up the Unleashed Arena. After a windy night, it was a relief to wake up to bright sunshine and it was time to head off down to the beach for some more sunbathing and to catch some of the amazing surfing, skating and BMXing from some of the top athletes in Europe. The mixture of sport, beach and music creates such a unique atmosphere and makes Boardmasters such an incredible festival. In the afternoon, we caught up with the amazing Delilah before her set (check out the interview here ) and watched Josh Kumra, Delilah herself, Maverick Sabre, Maximo Park and Dizzee Rascal into the evening, an absolutely pedigree line-up all in the beautiful cliff top setting. Our night was topped off by Zane Lowe mixing up an absolutely incredible set in the Unleashed Arena. All in all an incredible weekend was had, and we will undoubtedly be back for another amazing weekend in August 2013.
