A few days ago the world of hip-hop heard the voice that we thought we would never hear again, the song that includes 2 big names in Hip-Hop one being the US Rapper Drake and the other RnB singer Aaliyah! Aaliyah died on the 25 Aug 2001, apart from her album in 2002 we haven’t heard from Aaliyah since then until the song “Enough Said” which features Drake.
Drake, who does what he does best - drops a verse on the track, spoke in a interview about leading the future tracks for Aaliyah, which will be produced by ‘40’, Drake's best friend/producer. After him saying all this, Aaliyah’s label “Blackground Records” has indicated that they will go forth with a future album called “Posthumous” by getting help with Aaliyah's old partner's producer Timbaland and Hip-Hop artist Missy Elliot. Her label will consider Drake contributing to the latest LP.
The album plans to show the younger generation about Aaliyah’s music with the touches of the new Hip-Hop influences, for her die-hard fans this is great news to hear unreleased material from the young talented singer. The album will be featuring collaborations from various artists and will be looking to be completed just before the year ends.
