Is there room for another Jones in the world of House?

When I mention the surname Jones and house in one sentence there’s no doubt that you will associate it with the amazing sounds that are produced by Hot Creations creator Jamie Jones. However, breaking onto the scene in a massive way this summer is the very cool Laura Jones, a normal girl who decided to take up DJing after falling in love with house and techno during a trip to Ibiza in 2005.
Taking up DJ lessons definitely paid off, with her track ‘Love in Me’ being a huge hit in 2011 and her debut at DC10, the birth place of her passion, rocketing her to fame at the beginning of summer 2012. She’s signed to Matt Tolfrey’s Leftroom label who have just released her debut mix CD which is definitely worth a listen. In between her current tour of Latin America and Northern America at the beginning of September, Laura’s taking to the decks at SW4 in London, which is set to be amazing. Keep an eye out for Laura in the near future and remember you heard about her here first!
So in answer to my question, with the amazing tracks that Laura Jones has been producing, yes there definitely is room for another Jones in house music!
