Until the 1st of September you have time to discover another point of view of this big city. We are talking about London Now: The Olympic City, the new exhibition hosted by Sarah Myerscough Fine Art gallery that shows us a fresh look of London from a helicopter trip.
London Now presents the artworks of Jenny Pockley, Alicia Dubnyckyj and Daniel Preece, three international cityscape painters. Each artist presents different interpretations of four views of London (Westminster, St Paul’s, the City and the Olympic Village) at twilight. Each one works with different techniques and various levels of abstraction, producing a diverse selection of work. The helicopter trip has allowed the artists see London from an angle that most people have never seen, and their paintings recreate the encounter from their distinct and individual perspectives.
The exhibition pretends to capture the spirit of London as a major International city surrounded by the exciting atmosphere of the Olympics.
