Two months ago we made a list of who the richest DJs in the world were, now it’s the prestigious Forbes turn. They recently put out their own list distinguishing the DJs that have earned the most during the last 12 months.
It shows that being a DJ and making people get crazy in the dancehalls, raves and arenas has now become one of the most profitable and fun jobs in the entertainment industry so far. Without the need for a big budget, the DJs can earn great amounts of profit from touring and club appearances; earning these artists incomes that were unheard of some years ago.
Apparently, the list has been made from consults of Pollstar and Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on collaboration with the promoters, managers and the DJs themselves. The result is not surprising at all apart from the appearance of Pauly D, one of the members of the cheesy crew of Jersey Shore (The MTV show) who is the newest celebrity making a living as a DJ.
