The economy still sucks, but music doesn't. So if you’re into massive nights out and enjoying some of the worlds biggest dj’s mix, then get your fill in the comfort of your own home. Sure it's not the same as actually being there and it would get a bit sad if this became a regular habit. But with the obvious Boiler Room Streams as well as GetDarker’s recent live coverage of 1 June at Cable London, there’s no reason to completely miss out on those nights you just couldn't attend for whatever reason.
Streaming live electronic music doesn’t just stop at massive nights out, there’s also vlogs such as mixmags guest mixes titled ‘DJ Lab’ where recent highlights include the live set from legend Fatboy Slim as well as underground heavy weights Huxley, George Fitzgerald and Moxie.
Of course the greatest part about platforms like this besides being globally accessible to all those with a computer and unrestricted internet access, is being able to hear exclusive tracks from more sources then ever before. No doubt as it begins to catch on more, content like this will get used for marketing purposes as clubs try and win people over by showing how much more fun nights are at their club over others.
