“Listen, listen, woah, ayyy, listen, ooooh
Take your nose off my keyboard
What you bothering me for?
There’s a room full of niggas!
What you following me for?
This ain’t no f-ckin sing-along
So girl, what you singing for?
Cause we blowing like a C4
Got my whole crew blowing like a C4
20, keep the bar rolling
Fake ID’s and the trash we going straight to the top
Rooftop close with a handful of girls and they all so foreign
Rain so poisoned, rainbows flowing
Light skinned chick, first flight from Poland
A whole lotta friends, first flight from Poland
A whole lotta girls, first flight from Poland
Why? Cause they loving the crew, they loving the crew
They loving the crew
Oh, they loving the crew
Oh, they loving the crew
They loving the crew
They loving the crew
Oooooh,”
The Weeknd was in town last night to perform ahead of his highly anticipated performance for the O2 Wireless Festival. The Canadian singer entertained an excited crowd at London's Wilton Music Hall. Ticket prices to see the singer perform soared up beyond £100. Not bad for somebody who was unknown to many this time last year!
The Weeknd is a Toronto-based R&B singer named Abel Tesfaye. Abel started uploading songs to YouTube in 2010 and in March of 2011 he dropped his first mixtape, House Of Balloons. In August of 2011, he dropped his second mixtape, Thursday. His third mixtape, Echoes of Silence, was released on December 21 2011.
He's since gained respect from many prolific artists including rapper & singer Drake. The pairs single ‘Crew Love’ is a fan favourite and has helped The Weeknd gain access to a whole new world of super-stardom.
