The Decade Endurance Test

The electronics giant Sony reveals that there is still time till a new version of PlayStation is released. Sony is sticking to their plan of giving each new console a ten year cycle.
The 10 years before a new Sony console release can be seen as a very well thought out marketing strategy. Sony give themselves time to develop the latest form of technology in order to truly develop a next generation console. Just because they haven’t updated from PlayStation 3 doesn’t mean they've lost any of their constant vigilant focus. The longer they take the higher our expectations are raised and this is definitely one to wait for.
Instead Sony is going to concentrate on developing games and other products (not to say they aren’t researching how to update the PS3). Even though we have years to endure before another product is out, there’s the wishful fulfilment of ideals; the internet, tablets, touchscreen, social networking as well as 3D configuration could all integrate into one even better and sleeker piece of a gaming must have!
If you can’t wait for Sony and need something new and exciting to distract yourself with, keep tuned into the Wii releases. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes emerges mid-month and Project Zero 2: Wii Edition follows after shortly.
