Soho Flea Market

City Showcase: Soho Flea Market is a new event - for Dean Street; for Soho; for London and for the UK. 

Held on Dean Street in Soho, London on Sunday 27 May 2012 from 12:00 until 20:00, this cool new event in the heart of London will showcase emerging creative talent. From fashion to furniture designers, glass sculptors to games developers; all will be exhibiting and selling their works at ‘creative market stalls’ the length and breadth of Dean Street. There’ll be musical showcases, too, from exciting new artists on the City Showcase outdoor stage.

 

London’s up and coming creative talent including artisans, artists, fashion designers, jewellery designers, filmmakers and musicians will take part in this glamorous, must-go day out. The whole of Dean Street will be closed to traffic and ‘creative market stalls’ will exhibit and sell directly to the public. 


Participants include acclaimed ceramics designer, Lou Rota; gifts for the people who love art and design, Tenderproduct; luxury organic skincare brand, Skin Bistro; Red Dot design award winner, Rokos; recycled and organic clothing designer, Space1a Design; ethical, edgy evening wear designer, Yvian; Stylish leather bags and accessories, Nette Leather Goods; vintage designs to die for, Syd & Mallory; unique and bespoke knitted covered furniture maker, Melanie Porter, and many more.

Organiser City Showcase will host an outdoor stage with new and emerging music and comedy acts performing including Sam Gray, Hudson Taylor, Akayzia and comedian Paul T Eyres.
