Whitney Houston ‘Prepared’ Monica For Her Musical Career

The late Whitney Houston mentored the New Life singer from a young age, and Monica recalls her memories of her idol.
She said “Whitney wasn’t the type of person that would call and ask if I was OK; she would actually fly to me. She would come looking for me, she would sit with me.”
Monica said it’s hard on a daily basis without having her friend anymore, however she credits her for “never losing sight of who I was.”
It’s been almost three months since the legend passed away, however Monica has said that she will ensure her great grandchildren know everything about Whitney and her powerful influence.
