Spotify users can, since Wednesday, share their music on most web sites including Tumblr using an embedded player.
For those of you who want put some music on your website, blog or other social networks, it’s now possible with Spotify. The music streaming service add a new service, the Spotify Play Button.
Users have to install Spotify on their computer to use the new functionality on the web. This function is free and entirely customizable.
How can you get it? You have to log onto Spotify, choose your track and recover the embed code, then copy and paste one by one all the songs you want on your website.
With the Spotify Play Button, Spotify is trying to make up for lost time. In fact, its main competitor Deezer already launched a similar tool few months ago.
