Barrister Turns Himself In After Stealing 79 Cents From Fountain 20 Years Ago

An Australian barrister who took the money from a wishing fountain on the Gold Coast has handed himself in 2 decades later.
Simon Matters took the coins as a 19 year old in 1992. He is ‘highly embarrassed’ about the crime but obviously wanted to continue with his life guilt- free.
Unsurprisingly, he was not punished when he appeared in court.
