REM’S Peter Buck Working On Solo Album

The guitarist is recording his solo debut and he may even sing!
He may become the first member of the legendary band to release a post- break up solo album. This is exciting as the musician’s voice was previously unheard.
Scott McCaughey one of the band’s long- term collaborators said that Buck will probably sing on the record but is unlikely to sing in concert. He also is considering releasing his LP on vinyl only, with no download version.
Even REM front man Michael Stipe who was expected to make his own music has called the idea of a solo album ‘unfathomable.’
Buck clearly disagrees so we look forward to hearing the new sound!
