Zara Opens Up ‘Green’ Store
Friday 16th March 2012 | Osh
Yesterday, clothing brand Zara opened up one of their biggest shops in New York. The shop which is 32300 square feet, includes energy saving techniques and has a catwalk.
The new store focuses on beauty, clarity, functionality and durability. The store has three floors and about 450 people working there. On every floor there is a hallway which serves as catwalk.
So what’s new? Well, Zara installed motion sensors so that the empty parts of the store won’t be unnecessarily lit. Air conditioning systems will take cold or warm air from outside and covert it and all the furniture is made from durable wood. The conclusion here is that Zara is thinking about the environment. We like!
