Reggae Artists To Be dropped?

Thanks to the decision of veteran booking agent Peter Schwartz, the Agency Group are now set to “cut back” on the number of Jamaican artists the company represents.
Schwartz joined the agency back in 1993 and is the company’s longest serving employee. Despite representing some reggae artists, the door will be closed on booking certain artists, “I still do represent a handful of them and I still love the music and genre, but unfortunately... many have lost their US visas or work permits and without those, I obviously cannot book them”.
Tours have been booked all over from North America to the Caribbean to Europe and back again for artists like Sizzla, Beenie Man, Buju, Tarrus Riley, Luciano and others but with all the negative press top dancehall artists have been receiving in recent years, the agency is going to focus on hip- hop acts such as Redman and Method Man.
