U2, Coldplay and Beck To Feature On Charity Compilation

The compilation will be made up of unreleased tracks from U2, Coldplay and Beck. Coffee giants Starbucks and model Christy Turlington Burns are teaming up to create Every Mother Counts (Volume 2). This will be the second album to benefit the organisation she founded which holds the same name. The charity is an awareness and mobilisation campaign that seeks to “reduce the maternal mortality rate”.
The album will be available 1st- 29th May in the US. A release date hasn’t yet been set for the UK but tracks you can expect to hear are an acoustic version of Coldplay’s Yellow, U2’s Bono and the Edge’s acoustic version of Original Of The Species, Beck’s Corrina, Corrina and even tracks from the likes of Lauryn Hill, Sade and David Bowie.
