On April 14th, one of the world's most successful bands - the Red Hot Chilli Peppers - are to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in Ohio. All the band's members will be in attendance, with the exception of former guitarist John Frusciante.
Since leaving the band, he’s pursued various solo projects. Speaking of Frusciante, drummer Chad Smith revealed in an interview with Billboard that “he didn’t feel comfortable coming, which we totally respect...” The drummer also revealed that former members Jack Irons and Cliff Martinez would perform at the ceremony with them.
They are due to return to the UK though so get searching for tickets before they sell out!
Red Hot Chilli Peppers will play Knebworth Park near Stevenage on 23rd June, Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light on 24th June and Croke Park in Dublin on 26th June.
