Diamond Dog Collar Stolen From Poodle’s Grave In Paris
Friday 24th February 2012 | Osh
A diamond- studded dog collar was stolen from a grave at the world’s oldest pet cemetery. French police are investigating the theft.
The collar is worth $9000 which is approx £7500. The dog is called ‘Tipsy’ and was buried in 2003. It is a marble tomb with a headstone which includes an image of a black poodle and large red heart.
Treasure is not hidden in the tombs of all the dogs and cats and it is surprising that such a valuable necklace was buried with an animal.
A complaint has been lodged for trespassing and Tipsy’s owner has lodged one for desecration of a grave and theft.
