Lana Del Rey to Release Tracks From When She Was Lizzie Grant

Ever since Lana Del Rey burst onto the scene with her viral smash hit Video Games, the media has been obsessed with where this girl has come from and whether she is homegrown indie or major label manufactured. Before she was billed as a “gangster Nancy Sinatra” and before the internet controversy surrounding her apparently inflated lips, Lana Del Rey went by another name: Lizzie Grant. And under that name, she released an album. It has since disappeared from shelves, along with her old website and pretty much all traces of her previous persona - until now. Lana Del Rey has announced that she intends to release this forgotten album following the huge success of Video Games and her upcoming album Born To Die.
