Spring preview: Old Hollywood Glamour

Old Hollywood glamour has always found a place in fashion and from Etro to Ralph Lauren, Spring runways were filled with beautifully handcrafted evening gowns, cloche hats and silky day dresses with colourful floral prints.
Looking back to the time of Clara Bow and Norma Talmedge, Gucci’s Freda Giannini channeled legends throughout the beautiful collection, bringing together gold, black and white dresses with dropped waists and fringe on the bottom, bell hop-style jackets and splashes of emerald and tangerine. The Art Deco inspired collection has the right mixture of glamour and sexiness, which Gucci is famous for.
Gowns were the main focus at the Marchesa show, from light-as-air chiffon and tulle to beautiful jewels embroidered gowns, the collection embraces ideas of femininity, cheeky sexiness and allure.
