LL Cool J to host 2012 Grammy Awards

LL Cool J was announced as host of the 54th Grammy Awards today, making him the first official host in Seven Years. He has previously presented the annual nominations concert, but this will be his first time heading up the actual Grammy Award show. He said he was “thrilled to be part of music’s biggest night” and that hosting the awards was “a dream come true”.
As well as LL Cool J, the show will feature artists such as Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj. The Awards will take place on the Sunday 21st of February, showcasing some of the hottest artists and bands of the past year.
