The Big Chill Presents returns this October for our Halloween extra special payback party with the Bruk Out Crew! We have got not one, not two but three of our favourite providers of the freshest UK Bass; Marcus Nasty, Greenmoney and Elijah & Skilliam, with the second room hosted by one of London's liveliest Hip-Hop parties -Yo Mama! All wrapped up in a late late license and all for the wallet-smashing sum of ZERO PENCE!! You heard it straight austerity Britain, this party won't cost a thing....
Marcus Nasty is recognised worldwide as the UK's number one funky house DJ; let's get real, he's the DON!! He is respected as one of the leading pioneers within the UK House industry - not only mixing the music but also by scouting and promoting the biggest artists to come out of this scene. His weekly show on Rinse FM is essential listening and has pretty much single handedly defined the shape of UK Funky - In the same way his N.A.S.T.Y. Crew remoulded grime back in the day. Basically the man's got dubplates bursting out his sides, and a billion terrrabytes of hits on his hard-drive and HE.IS.GOING.TO.KILL.IT.
From their first Kanye West remix to the current ridiculous floor shakers erupting from Greenmoney records, Leo Greenslade and Alex Phountzi - aka Greenmoney - have cause mad dancefloor chaos round the globe. With a serious pedigree between the two which includes Leo running the legendary YoYo night and Alex's chart success withBugz in the Attic, Greenmoney are that rarest of things - a sick production duo who also kill it as DJs. Here at Bruk Out we've always loved grime - the most potent UK music of the last ten years hands down. So it's inevitable that we'd be massive fans of Elijah & Skilliam; a DJ duo and label partnership who's Rinse FM show has taken grime to new and genius levels. They've showcased non stop party smashing new talent, and best of all constantly proved that something doesn't have to be cheesy to be a sing-a-long, or wacky obvious to be a crowd pleaser. Their Butterz label has gone from strength to strength and released one of this years biggest anthems in P Money & Black's 'Boo You' -

Head Bruk Out honchos Nasty & Mangno have been carving out new forms of crazy party sets over the last couple of years, smashing up grime, crunk, funky, dancehall, dubstep, RnB and global bass bangers til the crowd rip off the roof! Rocking parties up and down the country they're armed with more cuts than a Tory chancellor... Exclusives, re edits, dubplates and classics are gonna be thrown down and the floor is gonna burn up...!
Having been consistently working East London's Catch into a bass pumpin, head spinnin, bling flossin block party, it was time Yo Mama made their debut at Bruk Out. They're gonna be running action in Room 2 all night long with a mix of classic 90s hip hop and RnB jams alongside box fresh floor fillers, all mixed to perfection, pure good times!
This is definitely going to be a roadblock event, so don't show up to late or you ain't getting in! And yes it's Halloween so bring your best Saw victim costume, cower at the gore splattered 80s horror visuals and be very afraid of the massive asbestos statue we've carved into the shape of Theo Paphites's evil squinting eyeballs (although we might not actually get that finished in time!).
