The UK's new underground super group? Meet, X Tempo

Three brilliant names in UK dance music have teamed together to create X Tempo. The four person group sees Brighton’s Dismantle bringing his super hype production skills alongside the duo, Jus Now’s big drops with Champion's intimidating basslines. They create music that will ‘groove and drop’, a killer combination from a killer collaboration.
The three artist’s individual production reflects this new sound. Firstly, genres go out of the window. None of them are defined by one genre, given how they draw on a number of styles and sounds. Secondly, all utilise percussion with drums as a focal point in their productions. Of course none of this is as important than their shared love of music that packs a punch. X Tempo sees them bunch together and create music heavily influenced by the Caribbean, which is unsurprising as together they have roots in the UK, Jamaica and Trinidad. With each individual artist works all highly sought after by many big DJ's, X Tempo's work looks set to take the UK's underground club scene by storm.
They have come together through a mutual respect of each other’s sound and have created a group that is sure to be releasing some of the biggest underground club hits for the next few years. They are starting things off with the FREE release of their debut self entitled EP. This release will introduce you to their style, and pays homage to the Extempo format as each artist faces off against each other, providing two tracks per clash. So that’ll mean two tracks from Dismantle x Champion, Jus Now x Champion and Dismantle x Jus Now. The 6 track release on Shy FX’s Digital Soundboy, is stuffed full of bubbling basslines and captivating melodies; and it's out to download now on Soundcloud.
If X Tempo’s debut EP is anything to go by, then they’ll be smashing clubs everywhere, keep your eyes and ears peeled.
