#TheSunLogic: Twitter Hits Back at The Sun Other | Thursday 4th December 2014 | The Twitter community has hilariously hit back at The Sun newspaper this week, after it labelled Russell Brand a hypocrite on its front page. For those unfamiliar with the story, The Sun branded the celebrity a hypocrite following his public support for the New Era Housing Estate protesters who were facing potential eviction and loss of affordable rental rates. They drew attention to his comparatively high rental expenses and his tenuous connection to the offshore tax schemes of his landlord. The dubious attack on the increasingly politicised celebrity has sparked an amusing hashtag trend on Twitter - #TheSunLogic - poking fun at the credibility of The Sun’s article. Here are a few of our favourite #TheSunLogic tweets... I have a job but I support the rights of the unemployed!
