EVENT PREVIEW: Slamboree live & Caravan Palace (DJ set)

If you haven't witnessed the Balkan Bass spectacle that is Slamboree, then we feel very sorry for you. The band fuse live instruments, circus skills and rapping with samples and DJs to create one of the most mad and spectacular live shows of any party band touring today. Leading Slamboree are DJ Mike Freaar and talented emcee Kathika Rabbit, supported by a multitude of dancers, musicians, circus performers, and pyro-technicians. Specialising in a unique fusion of eastern European traditional folk music, bass, breaks, hip hop, and dubstep, Slamboree are an act that must be seen (and heard!) to be believed.
Playing alongside them will be Antoine and Arnaud from electro-swing band Caravan Palace. With a similar vibe to Slamboree, they combine electronic instrumentation with double bass, guitar and strings, to create a dazzling fusion of old and new sounds. Although the full band will not be making an appearance, Antoine and Arnaud's DJ set is sure to set the place alight.
