B-Town’s DnB ravers lap up this set from Commix
Gracing the decks at Audio this week was Drum and Bass duo Commix. The liquid funk enthusiasts weaved through their set whilst seamlessly raising and lowering the energy and keeping the crowd of ravers on lock. The set reached its peak around midnight with the playful vibe of Commix’s own ‘Be True’, followed by other dancefloor fillers. It showcased all the winning features of recent Drum and Bass, juxtaposing deep and intense with lighter and more melancholy sounds, and the dark basement of trendy Brighton haunt Audio provided a fitting backdrop with its dim lighting and intimate layout.
The club night takes place every Wednesday night and last month’s big acts included Zeds Dead, Breakage and Cyantific. Definitely one to check out!
