Sancho Panza Presents ‘The Spotty Ship’
House | Monday 19th May 2014 | James
Kicking off their new series of themed events, renowned party organisers Sancho Panza return after their monumental 20th anniversary full moon events of last October. Bringing to the capital another well-devised and original party, the latest instalment welcomes legends Eren and Freddy Love to set sail on Saturday 24th May aboard their Spotty Ship on the Thames. Equipped with a multi-coloured deck, top end Funktion One system and a host of outstanding DJs, it’s clear that this particular boat party is going to be a very memorable night for all those involved.
Electronic music Pioneer and DJ of 30 years, Freddy Love, will be providing the vibe for this nautical voyage alongside Eren, a producer and DJ with a breadth of dance floor knowledge spreading across the globe. Having produced music for the likes of Seal and Chacka Kahn as well as being the man behind the most listened to mix of Candy Station’s ‘You Got the Love’, Eren certainly knows how to get a party going and The Spotty Ship’s maiden voyage will be no exception. Joining these seasoned selectors will be Sancho Panza’s own Matt Brown and Jimmy K Tel, the minds behind the unique outfit.
Beginning in 1992 in a humble basement setting, Sancho Panza have since gained worldwide recognition, hosting huge parties in warehouses, studios, cinemas, gyms and their memorable boat parties on the Thames plus their extensive festival circuit and certified position at Notting Hill Carnival. Each of their events has a special charm and The Spotty Ship will certainly be a night to remember.
Word on the street is that the Boat Party will definitely sell out so if you’re game for the polka dot adventure then grab your tickets quickly to avoid disappointingly settling for a night out that won’t be a colourful, maritime adventure.
