How did you start off in rap or indeed music?
I was a hip hop DJ first but I soon realized that I would not be playing too many clubs, since I was more into the technical part, scratching and beat-juggling. Around 2000 there was a contest to send in a tape with a rap song you recorded. The winner could perform in front of 15,000 people. I always rapped along to my favorite records, so I turned some of the records I had to the B-side and started practicing and won. That was the start.
You performed with Vanilla Ice who was in some senses looked down upon-what was your experience of him?
I was too young when Ice was really huge, between 1989 – 1991. First time I "discovered" him was in 1997 when I saw his movie "Cool As Ice" on TV. I saw a white kid beatboxing, break dancing and rapping. In my book that was and still is fucking great and he combined more elements of hip-hop than most artists nowadays, in the mainstream music scene. So yeah, I went on tour with him a couple of times, also in the UK from London to the Glastonbury Festival. It's blessing sharing the stage with someone who sold over 20 million records and was one of the first artists ever who brought rap music to a wider audience. Unfortunately the image is stronger than the music and a lot of people don't dig deeper.
You were actively making music it seems in 2009 why the long break?
I never really had a break, but a lot of time went into creating the album Sin's Disciple. I first had to find the right producers with the right sound. I didn't just want to buy random beats from random producers, put it on a disc and call it an album. We (a team of four people) first created our own sound library for the album. No samples (from other records), all new and original designed sounds. That took some time but it was all worth it.
How did the idea to amalgamate music with the graphic novel come about?
I didn't want to record and release a full album until I really came up with an original idea. Music sales keep dropping and the industry up to this date didn't come up with a solution. I wanted to take a step into the right direction and deliver more than "just" music. I'm a Star Wars fan and love to dive into other worlds;movies and good TV series are my drug. So I created an own world and went on multiple platforms.

What track best defines the whole project -if that is possible?
The title track of the concept album called "Sin". It's me singing and rapping. The music is a mix of programmed elements, live drums and live guitars. If you listen to that song, you get the picture of the journey.
What are your hopes for the project and indeed what are your plans for the next project?
That Project 7 gets as much media attention as possible. It's not easy out there for independent underground music, that has no corporate machine in the back, to create some noise. People are fed up with the hundredth "American Idol" or what ever it is called. It's time for something new and refreshing. I'm already working in a couple of new concepts simultaneously. One is almost finished. So you'll definitely get more music and art projects.
What's the most recent sin you committed apart from murder I presume?
Ha, how did you know? Hmm let me think. Her name was Angela and she's married.
