It’s not enough to be divas on the Oscars red carpet to get the media attention. But on the most prestigious catwalk of the year, major blunders, drops of style, fashion risks and unforgivable dress horrors also get noticed. So, if you have missed this year's Oscars red carpet here are the worst looks of the night.
Pharrel Williams
After his famous Grammy hat, the 40-year-old artist failed to make our fashion police “happy” with his shorts Tuxedo look. Accompanied by Helen Lasichanh, Pharrel once again got noticed for his unique fashion choice. Pharrel, make it stop!
Jennifer Garner
Although her hairstyle has gone lighter, this silver Oscar de la Renta's dress just screams “boring”. Her look at the Oscars just needed some verve to make it stand out. Jennifer, change your stylist!
Anne Hathaway
Last year the 31-year-old actress shocked the entire world for her nipple darts. This year to be on the safe side she picked a more secure dress, but this Gucci black halter outfit is too rigid. Anne, don’t be afraid to take risks!
Angelina Jolie
She is one of the most beautiful and sexy women to have ever existed in the world, but her Elie Saab collection dress doesn’t do her justice. The nude long garment is not brilliant enough. Angelina, bring sexy back!
Liza Minnelli
The 67-year-old actress was spotted in an almost head to toe electric blue look. Even the Oscars presenter, Elle DeGeneres made fun of Liza in her opening monologue. DeGeneres reportedly said: “That is one of the most amazing Liza Minnelli impersonators I’ve ever seen. Good job, sir.” Liza, don’t be a joke!
Anna Kendrick
This gothic J. Mandel dress does not fit her age. The 28-year-old actress hit the red carpet with this black gown not particularly made for a young person. Anna, stick to your age and try something more edgy!
Emma Watson
This Vera Wang dress will need more than a magic spell to make it stylish. The metallic gown makes the Harry Potter star’s chest look very flat. Emma, make it more chic and fun!
Elsa Pataky
Chris Hemsworth’s wife's baby bump squeezed in this Elie Saab's gown is hard to not notice. We kind of wish she stayed home and watched the Academy Awards on TV wearing her pyjamas. But here she is with her enormous baby bump that seems to yell “help”. Elsa, you look stunning but another dress would have been more appropriate!
