Red Bull Academy Announces Participants

60 artists chosen for 2011’s Academy.
For the last 13 years, the Red Bull Music Academy invites producers from all over the world to fill out a questionaire and submit a selection of their best songs. This year applicants came from 96 different countries showing the true diversity of the event. This has been whittled down to just 60 artists including 8 from the UK. Instrumentalists Krystal Klear, Ronika, Claude Speed and Raisa will join producers Don Daneeka, Nightwave, xxxy and Om Unit in heading to Madrid for the sessions. They come from genre’s such as Bass, Funky and R&B and have the opportunity to show the world just how good the UK scene is.
Whilst there, the artists will have an opportunity to work iin custom built studio’s and collaborate with artists from across the world that are also attending. Artists such as Flying Lotus and Jamie Woon have attended before so the Academy has a huge reputation behind it. Watch out for the artists, they could easily be the future!
