Is Porn fucking up our Youth?

On a very recent BBC's article some perplexities are raised by a survey about pornography consumption in early ages. Some say the results clearly show the damaging impact of online porn on young people. Especially if they can get it very easily through their smart-phones.
I was around 11 years old when I first had my web-porn experience. My cousin and I sneaked into my dad's office, where the internet connection was. At that time, in the first years of the new millennium, internet was that kind of a thing that you had to see and experience if you really wanted to believe it. Especially if you could admire naked people through it.
So we just went there and typed in something like “porn.com” or “xxx.com”. The page hadn't even loaded when my dad came back with a really angry face, but I was not ashamed at all when he blamed us for the sick thing we had done. All I could think of was the missed chance to see that girl's nipples pointing at my eager eyes. I was just hitting puberty, and my instinct would have won against any regret for what I had done. And even if my instinct would have faded away for a few seconds, I don't think there was an action to rationally regret.
After that experience I went back to enjoying porn in the “traditional” way: My friends and I used to steal porn magazines and manga from a newsagent close to our school. While someone distracted him with silly questions, someone else slipped to the back of his small shop and squeezed inside the jacket as much as it was possible. We would had bought that stuff if it was legal, seriously. As years went by I began to realise that he probably knew what the hell we were up to. It was just so obvious. But still, he let us. And I think it was really wise of him because we were just discovering the most natural thing in the world. Like a wolfpack of young wolves going hunting for the first time.
During one of these missions, I got hold of some really perverted shit. Basically the main male character of a manga sex story had a penis instead of a tongue, and he mated with a girl who had a vagina all over her armpit. Yes, her armpit. That picture is still pretty vivid in my mind, but I wouldn't say that I was disturbed by it. Nor that I liked it either, obviously. It just shows that sick minds found ways to express themselves even in the old media system.
As time went by, I gradually started to try web porn once again. In the meantime, barely 2 years, the internet had grown really fast and the opportunities to get a satisfying view of some hot chicks had multiplied exponentially. Plus, web rules were practically non-existent. That means, for example, that I also got to see a horse fucking a famous porn star, Ilona Staller, before ejaculating gallons of sperm all over her. Not to mention some more serious productions, such as “Two girls one cup”, “Two boys one sand-box”, and other various excellent material. You can't find that stuff around anymore, unless some mindful wanker downloaded, saved it and kept in some safe place.
Since then I've consumed porn almost on a daily basis and my preferences have changed several times, getting the chance to fulfil any tiny perversion I went through. Even when I had a girlfriend I couldn't help but check how things were going in that magnificent luxurious world. I'm 23 right now and I can say that porn is the only passion I've kept for so long and I think that I grew up fine.
It's just a paradox how people are starting to worry only now about porn on the internet. Being able to access this kind of content from a smartphone doesn't make it more addictive. It just makes it more intimate and at the same time easier to share with people you think that might like it. Like your friends. And, finally, it doesn't make it any easier than before to try porn in general. So unless you live in a cave, you have access to all the porn you can imagine and stuff you couldn't so you should jump in head first. Your girlfriend does while you're at work anyway....
