Floating Fortune

Last night, a dog walker from Lincolnshire came across almost £60,000 in cash floating in the South Drove Drain in Spalding. Although a large amount of the notes were damaged, a good amount of notes were intact and with the help of the Bank of England, police are carrying out an investigation to trace the origin of the cash and its lawful owner. Anyone with information about it should contact the Police and if you are the owner then you would need to provide proof of ownership. The public meanwhile are curious to know who would lose that amount of money in such economic times!
