Police shut down Shotta's latest gig... on the Tube
Drum and Bass | Tuesday 11th April 2017 | Arren
Harry Shotta smashed his latest headline appearance, on the Bakerloo Line.
The drum & bass MC was tearing it up on a carriage on London's Underground network. At around 10pm on Monday 10th April the police had to shut down a 'fully-fledged' rave on a packed tube carriage. Complete with a soundsystem, lights and a DJ, a number of commuters were given AAA to Shotta's surprise gig.
The British Transport Police said "Officers attended and spoke with a man who agreed to turn off the speakers and light systems, they then left the station", before adding "we'd kindly ask DJs to refrain from using the Tube as a pop-up club."
The short lived rave is thought to have been pulled off by the group, Trollstation with one member from the group tweeting "Put a full sound and light system on the London Underground tonight."
