With flights to Dublin being just one hour away from London, it seems only logical to spend a weekend away visiting all the fantastic things this capital city can offer.
However, for a true taste of rolling hills, freshly poured Guinness and experiencing the diddlyiddly (yes, that is a real thing), County Clare is by far the best place visit across the Irish sea.
Boasting to be Irelands second biggest tourist attraction, the Cliffs of Moher will really blow you away, so try not to stand too close to the edge!
Surrounded by breath-taking countryside, people come from around the world to see these fantastic cliffs jut out of the ocean like the spikes on a mysterious sea-creatures back.
Fans of 90’s pop-culture can take a trip to see the genuine Father Ted house and spend hours re-enacting famous scenes.
A short trip to the golden sanded beaches that are lapped by the Atlantic ocean are highly recommended for avid photographers, there are many photo opportunities that can’t be missed down the Wild Atlantic Way.
Of course, no trip to Ireland is complete without stopping in a traditional pub and joining in with a folk song or two.
