Strap down your speakers - these are Blaine Stranger's top dnb picks.
The rising drum & bass producer Sam Braithwaite-Lloyd has topped off one hell of a year. Hailing from Sydney, he's enjoyed his biggest year yet becoming one of Australia's fastest rising names in the drum & bass world.
Things are only getting better, as last week Viper VIP dropped his debut release. It's a pair of big room hits from him, nicely following his appearance on their annual Summer Slammers earlier this year. Listen to those below.
Landing a debut single release on Viper doesn't come easily, highlighting the talent this guy has. It's still early days for this producer - but if he keeps going the way he's is than there's no limit to how far he'll go. Keep you eyes peeled on this one!
To get to know him a little more, we've got his top drum & bass picks right now. Much like his own productions, some serious big room bombs in there!
Culture Shock - Rush Connection
"I know it was released last year, but this one I just can not get enough of, such a groovy energy!"
Mefjus - Taking (Ed Rush Remix)
"The vocal processing in the remix is fantastic, quite a unique sound here."
Metrik - Chasing Sunrise (feat. Elisabeth Troy)
"This one just makes you want to run, LOVE it!"
Matrix & Futurebound - Fire (feat. Max Marshall)
"One of the biggest vocal hooks I've heard in drum and bass in ages! FIRE!"
Rene LaVice - Some Things Never Change
"I don't know what it is about this tune, but I've never heard anything like it. So sick."
