Eastern Electrics Festival 2013

Wednesday 26th June 2013 | Chris

“This year's festival looks like it could be the event that defines the dance music zeitgeist of 2013” - Trap Magazine

After the unequivocal success of their debut festival which was the fastest selling electronic music festival in 2012, Eastern Electrics decided it was time to reassess. At Eastern Electrics HQ they looked into the crystal ball to see what it could conjure up for revellers this year. They had visions which were inspired by some of the greatest electronic music events around. With the backing of party brands such as; Black Atlantic, Boiler Room, Crosstown Rebels Presents Rebel Rave, Dirtybird, Elrow, Futureboogie, Junk Departement Present: Culprit, Just Jack, Krankbrother, Krush Presents: Live At Robert Johnson vs Life & Death, LWE, Mulletover, and Secretsundaze, the possibilities are endless.

The organisers at EE came to the conclusion that England is ready for something as big as Wonderland or Time Warp, and in order to expand they were going to have to relocate outside London and make this a fully fledged camping festival. The chosen location is the legendary Knebworth Park which can be reached within half an hour from Central London. It is an area steeped in musical heritage that has proved itself as a setting fit for a magnitude of performers. This year Knebworth Park will witness something a little different to previously, as over 100 of the finest global artists and sought-after rising talents in electronic music will be the ones looking to make their mark on the Hertfordshire landscape.

Knebworth Park will house bespoke stages and event production of the highest standard, including an Electric City complete with Roller Disco, Karaoke, Dressing up boudoir, secret stages and plenty more for those willing to explore. The music will be literally non-stop this weekend as the festival has a 24 hour arena to keep revellers entertained around the clock. Performances will be from 2pm to 6am on Friday and Saturday, and 12pm to 10pm on Sunday to offer an epic 42 hours of musical adventure!
