Well known for their award-winning comedy albums, the Ninja Sex Party duo Danny Sexbang and Ninja Brian will today be officially releasing their (slightly) more serious album 'Under The Covers'.
Announced back in July 2015 during a Game Grumps episode, 'Under The Covers' will be Ninja Sex Party's first ever cover album. Upping the production quality they've enlisted the musical talents of Tupper Ware Remix Party on backing instruments whilst Danny belts out classic eighties hits such as 'Take On Me' in the way that only he could.
Just last month we were treated to a music video for the 'Take On Me' cover which gave the feeling of travelling back in time. Danny takes center-stage in his signature Jewish superhero unitard, whilst Ninja Brian stares deep into the camera with his well-perfected death-stare.
The other video released was for 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World' which continues straight from where the last video left off as the band exit the stage and go on a road trip. Here we get to see Ninja Brian unmasked and being regular Brian; the dad with a PhD in theoretical physics... you know, regular dad stuff really.
The album also sees a reappearance of the single 'The Last Unicorn' which the band previously released for free as well as Michael Jackson's 'Rock With You' which I'm personally hoping comes with its own video, if only to see Danny's interpretation of MJ's classic moves.
Whatever comes next I'm sure will be just as great as what we've seen so far with a little NSP comedy magic mixed in for good measure.
