Roni Size & Krust collaborate for Full Cycle's first release in 6 years

Drum and Bass | Wednesday 17th February 2016 | Arren

Full Cycles Records has its first release.

We’ve all heard the news that Full Cycle is returning as Roni Size & Krust are preparing to embark on their spring tour across Europe. Adding some substance to their style, the pair have just sorted the labels first release in 6 years since it disbanded in 2009.

At its height, the Bristolian label was a driving force in the UK's electronic music scene. Roni and Krust, along with labels signings like Die, Suv, and D Product, took the helm of the jungle/drum and bass movement from the mid 90s until its closure.

The relaunch will kick off with, who better than Full Cycle's head honchos. Roni and Krust have together collaborated on 'Formulate'. They re-work this old track, giving it a new lease of life all whilst staying true to the label’s original rolling, broken beat style.

With the original will be a remix from Hodgson taking things a little more down the techno route. Also featuring on the EP will be a remastered copy of the classic track 'Snapshot' with Swindle taking up remix duties.

Due to drop on March 11th, it's just in time for their spring tour that stops in London on April 8th at Villiage Underground.
